🌟 About the Role

We hire seasonal staff for our Pumpkin Harvest (September–October) and Christmas Tree Season (Late November–Mid December). You'll help bring our farm to life — greeting guests, guiding families, operating attractions, serving up delicious food, and spreading cheer.
Agri-tainers work mostly on:

  • Weekends: Saturdays & Sundays
  • Weekdays: Thursdays & Fridays -- some other week day hours available for food prep, pumpkin picking, Wreath Barn (tree season), and more.

We especially need team members committed to both our Pumpkin Harvest season and the Tree Season.

Must be able to:

  • Work outside no matter the weather
  • Commit to your schedule
  • Work well with others
  • Be able to change gears fast and often
  • Have a commitment to customer service

Pumpkin Harvest Season

  • September to End of October
  • Fun-filled days with families enjoying pumpkins, hayrides, sweet treats, and more!

Christmas Tree Season

  • Kicks off Nov 28 (Black Friday) through mid-December
  • Hours:
    • Weekdays: 3 PM – 6 PM
    • Saturdays: 9 AM – 6 PM
    • Sundays: 1 PM – 6 PM

🍁 Field Trip Tour Guide – “Planting Seeds of Wonder”

If you have a heart for kids and love to teach, guide, and inspire, this is for you! Lead preschool and elementary school groups through interactive tours of the farm. Share the joy of agriculture, animals, and fall fun in an educational setting.
  • Best for: Teachers, homeschoolers, or retirees with weekday availability
  • Schedule: Weekdays, 8 AM – 2 PM | 3–5 days a week
  • Openings: 10–14 positions
  • Bonus: You’re off in time for school pick-up!

💵 Cashier – “The Friendly Face of the Farm”

Whether it’s greeting guests at admission, sharing a kind word in the gift shop, or helping folks with pumpkins or food orders, cashiers make guests feel welcome and valued at every turn.
  • Locations: Admission booths, gift shop, food stands, and pumpkin sales
  • Schedule:
    • Pumpkin Harvest: Thurs–Sun
    • Tree Season: Daily
  • Openings: 20-25 positions
  • Must Bring: A cheerful spirit and attention to detail

🍔 Food Service Team – “Serving Joy with Every Bite”

Be part of the crew that keeps guests fueled for farm fun! From make sandwiches to serving cider, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, joy-filled team that works with excellence and a servant’s heart to serve up a quality food product.
  • Stations: Feed Bunk, The Grill, Sugar Shack, Pretzel Cabin, Dull Sister Sweets
  • Schedule:
    • Pumpkin Harvest: Thurs–Sun
    • Tree Season: Daily
  • Openings: 40–50 positions
  • Great For: Those who love working with people and food

🍩 Donut Maker – “Spreading Sweetness One Ring at a Time”

Join our Sugar Shack team to make our famous donuts! This position is repetitive and hands-on — perfect for someone who takes pride in precision and teamwork.
  • Schedule:
    • Pumpkin Harvest: Thurs–Sun
    • Tree Season: Daily
  • Openings: 5 positions
  • Lift with care: Some lifting required

🧑‍🌾 Outdoor Operations – “The Heartbeat of the Farm”

If you like to keep things running, serving customers. and don’t mind a little dirt on your boots, this role is for you! Help with safety at attractions, campfires, parking, cleanup, and tree processing (during tree season).
  • Schedule:
    • Pumpkin Harvest: Thurs–Sun
    • Tree Season: Daily
  • Openings: 20-25 positions
  • Qualities Needed: Reliability, strength, and a heart to help

🚜 Tractor Driver – “Guiding Guests on Joyful Journeys”

Be the steady hands behind our hayrides and barrel train. Safety-first and full of fun, this position brings smiles to hundreds of families.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 25 or older
  • Schedule:
    • Pumpkin Harvest: Thurs–Sun
    • Tree Season: Daily
  • Openings: 8–10 positions
  • Bonus Points: Calm under pressure and confident behind the wheel

💥 Blast Team – “The Farm’s Special Ops Crew”

Think of this team as the farm’s MVPs — flexible, cross-trained, and ready to help wherever needed. One hour you may be making a specialty drink, the next helping at the corn maze or cashier relief.
  • Schedule: As needed across all open days
  • Openings: 5–10 positions
  • Ideal For: Quick learners who love variety and teamwork

🎨 Face Painting & Pumpkin Decorating – “Artists of Autumn Joy”

Add sparkle and smiles to little faces as you paint cheeks and guide guests through decorating a pumpkin! A creative role perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with kids and families.
  • Schedule: Thurs–Sun (Pumpkin Harvest only)
  • Openings: 8–12 positions
  • Bring: Creativity, patience, and a steady hand

🎟️ Hospitality Team – “Creating D.U.L.L. (Delightful, Unique, Loving, Lasting) Experiences”

You’re the farm’s first impression and warm welcome. From greeting at the gate to helping families navigate the fun, you make every guest feel seen and celebrated. This role also includes farm cleanliness – wiping down tables, checking restrooms, and helping guests clean up their trash.
  • Schedule:
    • Pumpkin Harvest: Thurs–Sun
    • Tree Season: Daily
  • Openings: 7–12 positions
  • Ideal For: Outgoing, helpful personalities with big hearts

🌲 Wreath Barn – “Crafting Cheer for the Holidays”

Work in the coziest corner of the farm during Tree Season! Create wreaths, garlands, centerpieces, and help guests find that perfect handmade touch for the holidays.
  • Schedule: Tree Season only (daily)
  • Openings: Seasonal need
  • Skills Welcome: Creativity, attention to detail, and festive spirit

Details:

Dull’s Pumpkin Harvest is open every year around the middle of September – October and Dull’s Tree Farm is open the day after Thanksgiving – December 21. Most employees will only work 20 days during Dull’s Pumpkin Harvest and 5 days during Christmas Tree season. There are more hours available for Wreath Barn employees during Christmas Tree season. These are short seasons and we need people who can follow through with commitments. We want staff who are:
